Aww not sure which issue as Rosemary sent me the three pages that the charts are on and there are no clues there I'm afraid

The designer is Joan Elliott if that's any help?
When I have finished stitching all three I will be willing to pass the charts onto someone else, I just don't know how long that will take as I'm planning on starting some other projects inbetween these.
Anyhow time for an update methinks! It was a scorcher here on Sunday and DH took the little un off to the swimming baths for a couple of hours which gave me a nice relaxing stitchy afternoon yay
Here is how he is looking now
And a bit of a close up on his fuzzy face!
Just got the border (which is very tedious) the lettering and the dreaded french knots to go!

I have finished

I meant to post sooner but my phone has a weird fault with the camera....in the daytime the camera sees everything in shades of blue....but at night the colours are just fine!! I think I have a vampire phone eeeeek

Actually I think its a software problem but I haven't figured out how to fix it yet
Anyway I eventually took a photo
I'm really pleased with how he turned out, even though the border was a bit tedious to stitch I think it looks very effective. As for finishing, I'm not too sure atm, I love the frames shown in the magazine but I'm toying with the idea of getting my DH to make a box big enough to hold a couple of bottles of wine and mounting him on the top

. Plenty of time to muse over that tho, so I will post again once I've decided and finished.
