Not really noticed a difference between the two. Used Anchor with several kits and am using DMC with my HAED. I do prefer the Anchor black though for some reason. It just seems nicer to stitch with than the DMC one.
I will be sticking with DMC, it's easy to get hold of at a reasonable price and the floss list for HAEDs is given in DMC and I'm afraid I may have become a bit of an addict.

I've used both and I can't say I've noticed a difference. I'm using DMC now because that's what's available in the stores that sell thread here. The ones I know of, anyway.
