that's lovely - very striking - big fans of peacocks in our house. I can't imagine that we'll return from India to the UK without some peacock memorabilia. I tend to do Christmas cards on very dark navy blue aida and really need to learn from these top tips about white backing/lights at feet - great stuff.

Thanks everyone. I'm really pleased with this.
Note I never said I actually liked to do beadwork, especially keeping them all running in the same direction. Arg.
But it's so worth it!

And here he is completed. This went fast and was a joy to stitch. Now to the biggest challenge for me....getting it framed. I'm such a procrastinator about that.
And my other challenge.....which big Chatelaine will I now stitch? Hmmmm. Decisions, decisions....
