too funny! I know there are lots worse things that I could spend my time doing and learning new techniques in stitching is really fun. I am so looking forward to start on the TOS--love the feel of the silk thread--those that I ordered today are the same brand that is in my silk sampler so at least I am familiar with how it stitches up. Hopefully I'll be able to sort out the perfect fabric for TOS--so glad I have a few to pick from in my stash---ebay wins sure come in handy at times

Glad I could help! They have an Autoship program that I signed up for that is only $20 a month - You get an assortment of 20 different colors each month, 8.75 yards of six strand floss on little spools. You don't get to pick the colors but it's a great way to build up a supply of silks!

that sounds like something worth checking into. very reasonable it seems to me. 20 colors for $20 is less than the satin dmc 's at michaels. after I get my first order in and decide if I like the silks. which I am sure I will.

I thought it was great too, some of the names are rather humorous to say the least and I really am looking forward to seeing these threads in person--just had an email that said my order is being processed and should be shipped in 3-5 business days--waiting is sooooooooooo hard to do

I'm going there today. Will probably start the TOS before anything new arrives. At least I hope to start "testing" what my new threads will be like this week-end. Just a bit more to finish page 3 of LOTR and post it later. My plan was to do the top row before rotating to TOS but we'll see.
