I'm ver yeager to see this grow as well.... Ooh wait I am the one stitching it hahah. Did a little more yesterday but my needle did not want to move very fast soo yeeeaaa.... just did very little.
Busy_B wrote::dance: I'll definitely be watching this since I've told myself that I can't start mine until the model is done. :( Question for you...Did you notice any changes in the color of the thread? Some of my threads had 2 different shades in the same bundle. I was just wondering if you noticed this in your kit. Have fun stitching it!
The only thing I really noticed were the weird name that was attached to the colour like light yellow grey.. and I look at the floss and see grey... not a hint of yellow in there. On one bundle a couple of colours do look the same but I think it is just the shading of the colors like very light and light.... they can look the same but they are not once stitched.

Hi all..

I am new to this forum. :D

I too have just brought this design and can't wait to get stuck into it!

Could someone please tell me if you use 2 strands per stitch? i am doing a cross stitch at the moment that only requires 1 strand.

I'm pretty sure I should be using 2 but the instructions don't actually state this.

Thanks

Tracie

Hi Tracy,

You use 2 strands for all the cross stitching, there are certain blended colours that require three strands because of the filimant thread. It does state on the inside of the chart list on the top right how many strands should be used. Unless the chart states otherwise, which it does with every box that contains the blends and the backstitch - those boxes indicates the number of threads as well as the french knot box as well.... Does that make sense?

You are welcome Tracie. I can not wait to see what you have worked on and your progress once you start as well.

Ookay not much of a progress but here is a little that I was able to do. I am still figuring out how I want to work on this one. I like to do all one colour but with coming from linen in which sometimes that does not happen because you dont want to make any mistakes and We have had some family issues happening recently and I went Wedding dress shopping with my sister. But I do plan on having a lot of this done by October 27, why do you ask on such a weird date? Well let me explain a little. When I was younger my family hosted exchange students and one of the girls that we stay in contact with is coming out to visit and she is arriving on the 27th and she is staying with us for about a month for a visit. She is from Japan and her name is Saki so I am hoping so to have this one and the Enchantress done by then so there is something on the wall cause she will be having my room.

Without any futher ado here is Beauty and the Beast Falling in Love:
