I'm off work now for 3 days, so should be able to crack on with this!

Well I didn't think I was going to get a lot done today, because i kept stopping for people visiting us! And I started college tonight too. But have been stitching since I got home, and my update for tonight - groom bear is finished!! (apart from backstitching and his eyes) he looks very cute!!!

I now have another 4 projects lined up after this! Two for Christmas (one just for me), a birth sampler for a friend for February, and a Me to You graduation bear for around summer next year! So lots to get through!

Groom bear is looking very dashing!

Didn't really get much done yesterday. Was pretty busy and had another night class lastnight!!

So been working hard on it today, and have most of the bride done! Just her dress left to do now. Here's the update:



I'm not sure if you can see the detail in the veil - it's done with 2 strands of White and 2 strands of blending filament (which I hate!! lol) and I tried changing the flowers to pinks, which I hope will look ok once I've done the backstitching!

Love the sparkly veil! Blending filament can be a pain but the effects are worth it!

well done. I know that blending filament can be a real pain, but I love the sparkly look it adds. not too much, but just enough. the pink flowers look good and I'm sure when you backstitch it will be perfect.

Now I am thinking about frames for it! Is it easy enough to frame work yourself, or better taking it somewhere to frame it?

The blending filament is so worth it, it looks lovely!

Wanted to crack on with this today and have got quite a bit done! Onto the last stretch now - just backstitching and the personalisation to do!

Started the backstitch today, with the metallic thread first - not a pleasant experience!!! Only the tiara left to be done in the metallic thread though!

this is just so prettyl. The bride has really turned out well. and you have been so speedy with it too. The metallic thread gives it such a nice sparkle.
