Sad but I agree, its not right. Love the idea of silver and blue, could look real classy.

I am sorry to hear you are not happy with your finished piece. I hope that your 2nd try will work out better for you. Even though you wasn't pleased I thought it looked pretty good

I don't think I can say the word exterminate without thinking of the Daleks lol.. So it was already in mind before I even opened the thread! I think it looks cool! But I agree the bumps don't stand out.. maybe it would have been better to stitch them in a lighter shade...

I'm finding re- charting this very tricky. I'm using the original from the magazine as a guide. Want to add quarter stitches to give it a better shape. Also change the colours.
What's the best way to chart something? Colours first then backstitch or backstitch first then colour as I'm trying to do?

I would do colours first, but I haven't charted a lot.. How about silver/grey with black bumps too?

It is a nice blue!
The rest will mostly be grey.
