No they are not beads. I have never worked with beads on cross stitch before but at this point I kind of wish they were. It is one strand of pearl filament with two strands of white and it is a major pain to work with. I also have gold filament that is in there too which is on the clock tower I just finished last night. Not so sure if you can see it in the pic. Tinkerbell is all I really have left to finish and Im shooting to have it finished hopefully tomorrow. I havent had much time to work on it since fall quarter started a couple days ago and I already have assignments due.

it looks very good. You have done a really good job. And even though working with the filament is a little tricky I love the effect it has. I am lookfing forward to seeing Tinkerbell when you get a chance to stitch again. Time gets really crunched when school starts.

So....if the picture posted right....here she is! My first cross stitch Ive completed this year. I actually had finished her on Sunday but my camera decided to quit working on me. Im just glad to be able to finally start working on my other project.

Thanks everyone. I figured I would just use a link to post the picture because I seem to always have problems trying to actually post the picture.

Lovely finish on Tinkerbell. Looking forward to seeing Starry Night - I love Van Gogh, though have yet to stitch one myself.
