Aren't they all just beautiful. And a very clever design. I know the fabric I am going to use but haven't decided what colour floss.

Tree of Stitches is by Abi Gurden and available at
The Stitch Specialists Yahoo Group.

You have to sign up for the group and then they SAY that you will get a confirmation from someone and you can get into the group. I did the sign in thing and still have not been confirmed.(3 days ago) I think it was just not meant to be for me. I am not sure I would have had the time anyway. I was just very curious about the site. Oh well I have loads of otehr projects to keep me busy.

Rose - sometimes (most times!) the confirmation will end up in your junk email so check there. Also I know that Abi is currently away, but the other mods cover just about 24hours internationally between them and respond very quickly to emails/requests - if you don't hear anything try again, it would be a shame for you to miss out (even though you might not get around to stitching it for a while yet!).

No I was just going to look and see what they had on their site but I may never do any of the projects. I have more then enough to keep me very very busy. Thanks I will just watch all of you lovely ladies.

The trunk is a DMC satin. Not sure of the number. Then I just started pulling DMC greens from my stash I guess. and 3 different variegated threads. I've put them all back so I'm not sure but I think some of the greens were the 470,471,472 group and 334?. more in the olive and yellow green group. Variegateds were something like 92,94 and 124. (but I could be wrong. I'm being lazy right now but I can check them for you if you want). I didn't plan on doing that when I started, it just sort of ended up that way. I had ordered some silk threads and had a few more satin but just stuck with the DMC's. I am thinking I would like to do it again and do variegated for the most part. I loved the way they looked.
