You've made good progress and are on your way to getting it done by Christmas. What a wonderful gift that will be. As Sally sad, it takes one stitch at a time. If your friend has already seen you working on it, then you could probably keep sewing, otherwise keeping it a secret makes sense. Anytime you need some cheering or motivation, come back here and we will be glad to provide it.

I've been slowly plodding along with Max (in the last week in particular).
I feel I've made pretty good progress. I only have to finish the tree stump on the right, then the back stitch, and he'll be done!
I am hoping (my new revised goal) that I'll be able to finish it in the next two weeks. (Roughly by the end of February).
Atticus (who looks just like Max) went to his new home on Sunday, and my flatmate was pretty gutted, so hopeful he sees this as a nice memory of him when he's overseas.
