Even though pink is far from my favourite colour, I'm enjoying working on this. Some of the deep reds are really pretty. I'm still incredibly frustrated that I don't have all my colours yet (could still be a week in coming), but I'll keep stitching and hope they arrive soon.

This is going to be so beautiful - what a wonderful gift! and your stitching is perfect too.

Very pretty! I'm not much of a pink person either, but there's something about this design that I really like. Hopefully, you'll get your colors soon so we can see it in its full glory.

He (she?) is really turning out great. I'm loving the colors... but I really have become a "pink" person in the last few years.

A far cry from my "goth" days of my late teens and early twenties when I only dressed in black, grey, and the only colors were burgundy or purple!

Excellent progress!! I'm not a pink person either, but my dad is sort of as a play on our last name. We had pink Christmas lights on our house for a few years when I was younger.

I love the colours on this one.

Well, some stranded silks (like HDF's premium silk) have thicker strands so they are pretty close to 1.5 .... just saying ... not enabling or anything

Here is my latest update... while I have gotten a fair amount done, I'm still very frustrated since the other thread hasn't arrived. *growl* I know I won't be ordering from that company again, as it took them four days to ship it from the time they processed it. When I called to find out the reason, they said it's typical. I let them know I won't be ordering again--to me that's just not acceptable. At the same time, we ordered several items through Amazon and a couple more from other online sources (all AFTER I ordered the thread from this company), and all of that stuff has arrived.

Anyway, enough whining... here's my update. I apologize for all the missing bits!

love your update. I am so sorry to hear that the company you ordered from is so bad at shipping things out. Hopefully it will arrive Monday. In the meantime what you have done is beautiful. And it is going really fast.
