Tiff, both of them are two strands over two fabric threads, but the fabric is 36ct, so it works out at 18ct. I like the delicate look of this linen, it makes the whole thing look more dainty :-)

Some major re-charting has been going on with Bittersweet 3. It's much chunkier than the other two (which I intended, so that's OK), but having finished one of the purple floral structures it did seem a bit solid. I did the second one and finished a thread just as I had done the two outer petals and about half of the central petal, and I realised that I liked the look of that better than the completed one. But that means re-charting the green and yellow bits that crown the flower -- not to mention frogging half the central petal of the flower I had already completed  . Oh well, better now that after completing the whole thing :-). We're out tonight so little or no stitching, but I hope to complete the new version tomorrow, with any luck.

Looking forward to seeing number three. Glad you've sussed the tweaking now rather than further down the line. :)

It took a bit longer than I expected, but Bittersweet is all finished now

Here the complete set, with #3 first because you hadn't seen that one yet :-)
