Thanks everyone! I've almost finished frogging the dark stitches so, hopefully, tomorrow night I can get back to stitching properly! It seems the frog doesn't want to leave so easily... :ratherbe:

After five days of stitching, this is what I have:

I feel like I've stitched a whole lot more than what I have there...So small! I've only completed one 10x10 box so far with a couple of the next ones almost done. Onward!

Haeds are meant to be a journey, settle down, you will get quicker and one morning you will come downstairs and something will pop out at you and you will smile and know you are getting somewhere, you have picked a beautiful chart, try another week or so and see where you are, they always look like nothing is happening at the start.

That's how I feel with my HAED as well.. I feel like I've done a lot.. step back and it look so tiny... but it's worth it in the end.. This is going to be gorgeous when complete!

Slow going but I'm getting there. I'm jealous of all you quick stitchers! :P Not seeing much as yet, just fancy clouds and sky.

:applesauce: It is looking good and I think you are making good progress. progress varies not only by how fast someone stitches, but the design and if it is full or tent and some of us (like me) are retired and families are grown so we probably have more time for stitching. Though sometimes that isn't true - right now it is for me so that certainly helps.

I think this is a stunning piece, great progress too, you'll be amazed how much you get done from one picture to the next, as long as you are enjoying stitching then it shouldn't matter how long it takes you

So it's been a while and I still don't have anything interesting to show. Just more sky :P I still love stitching it, don't get me wrong though! Do you all like me posting these little updates or would you rather me wait longer between posts so there is more to see?

The colors are starting to look amazing!! I think updating is mostly at your discretion. I think whatever motivates you to keep stitching is the best choice..

I agree, posting WIP pictures motivates us to keep going, and also makes us see the work in perspective, and the encouragement from everyone else doesn't hurt either, so post as often as it's comfortable for you!

The colors are looking amazing in this, those striking blues .... love it!

Oh, but it is interesting to see how the colors are blending together and evolving! Such pretty colors to work with. My plans are to post updates with every cycle thru my rotation, 2 wks on each project. I also was wondering if that would be too often, but I find that the posting REALLY motivates me to keep stitching and show some progress. Go for it-- it's so fun to see everyone's pictures and updates and this is a great place to show off what you're doing. I don't know about you, but nobody around my home is much interested in my progress.
