Actuall the fabric is white with gold stars printed on it but the purples I am working with makes all the pictures look like a blueish haze.

How did I miss this until now???? What a lovely project, and the purples you've chosen work very well -- sorry it was such a job getting them just the way you wanted!

Beautiful stitching, Rose!

Here is the progress I was able to get done this week. I had to stop and work on other projects when my daughter was here so a bit of slowing but still lots to see.

Oh, I love your color choices! It looks so much nicer in the purples than in the brown.
I know what you're saying about making color decisions - I finally decide on the "perfect" color, start stitching with it just to find it doesn't work out after all. Then, you not only have to frog out what you stitched, you have to go thru the whole decision process all over again! (Plus, put away all the floss you pulled out while trying to narrow down the selections. )

It is beautiful. I love the purple (my favorite color) and think it is so much prettier than the brown would have been. And your stitching is lovely. Your daughter is very lucky.
