Cool! I love the look of this one Rose. Hope you can find the fabric you like for the other as well.

This week Mr Puppy wanted to play and was all over me and my stitching so the progress was a bit slow. Still I got a nice amount completed. This green is almost the same as stitching on black. I need to make sure that I have a white towel on my lap and very good light so I can see the holes.

You are making really good progress. I love the pink on the green fabric. I have a very hard time with the darker fabrics and have avoided them. Several are stuck in the back of drawer somewhere. This one is so pretty. I can't wait to see what fabrics you choose for the other months you are planning on.

Here is my progress this week. Wanted to get the star finished so worked more on that then this.
The BS will really make this pop right noe her face is a bit odd.

This looks so good. The backstitching on this angels just makes them come to life. Its one of those patterns where you can really see the difference. But you have done a lovely job and May is looking lovely already.

She's looking great! You've done a lot of work on her. Definitely the backstitch will finish her off, but you can sort of see where the backstitch will go.

So last night I wanted to see how the BS would look on her face and hair. It was a bit creepy to stitch on her with out the face more defined. Anyway I did the BS and now I am not sure it is dark enough. The dark fabric has really faded all of the colors out. So do you like it as it is here or like me do you think one shade darker would give it that pop that it seems to need???????

I went and looked at mine which is on the white afghan fabric and the back stitch looks so much darker I was surprised. The dark fabric really makes the figure stand out beautifully but does make a difference with the BS. I think one shade darker would give it that pop or clarity that it seems to need. I love how yours is looking though. Great job.

Yes I agree too...her face just isn't very distinct atm. The rest of her looks amazing though
