Thanks so much everyone! I went away for the weekend but got back this afternoon and was able to do a bit more stitching and finished her face and attached the arm to breast area! I will post pictures once I am done the rest of her hair and other arm

And thanks! But that's what happens when I sit around and wait for jobs to call me back lol. I work on it from the moment I wake up to when I go to sleep! Hopefully though at the end of March I will have my dream job of working in a jewellery store and apprenticing on how to make the jewellery

The owner said to come see him at the end of March because he might be looking for someone like me wanting to get into the trade

Update time!! Well I worked more on my mermaid yesterday and today and managed to get another huge chunk of her done! Just have to finish off the tail, her hair and arm and the rest of the garland

This is so exciting! Here is a close up of the worked on sections:

And here is the overall completion:

When I finish this...this will be my first ever completion of a "big project" for me! (So my Nan is not expecting this at all! She will be in complete shock when we give it to her all framed

)

I think the completion of this might be motivation to finish my Midsummer's Night Dream Fairy and Titania for myself

Thank you everyone for your amazing encouragement

It really does help me work on my projects. And also thanks for the support for this dream job! I am going to die if the plans fall through or don't work out as planned!!

Well I wait for April I have so much time on my hands to cross stitch. I worked on my mermaid some more today and can officially say I am done cross stitching her body!!!

The goal for tomorrow is to finish her arm and the garland. Then I can wash and press and add the beads! Words cannot describe how excited I am for that stage lol and I mean that in the least sarcastic tone possible
