Thanks everyone :), I fell in love with the pattern when I saw the model being posted on here by Busy_B last year, I did a search for it earlier this year hoping that the pattern was out and found it :D. My husband bought me the pattern for Valentines day. It's an awesome pattern but difficult cause there are so many blended colors.

Yes, there are a lot of blended colors in Patricia's patterns. They do play together beautifully when it's all done though. The only time I was struggling with it was when I was working on the border. It is almost all blended threads with kreinik. I was constantly changing threads since there were only a few stitches in a reasonable area. I don't know if you've got a plan on how you're stitching it, but you might not want to save all of the border until the end since it can get tedious. Still, it turns out beautifully!

After seeing your progress on here, I e-mailed Patricia to let her know that the finished product looks wonderful (she finishes the backstitch and beads on her projects). She wrote back saying that she forgot to send me the final pattern, so it should be here some time next week. It's a little odd seeing my name on the patterns.

I see what you mean about the border with the kreinik (definatly not my favorite to work with). I figured I would still do the border last though, I have a very small craft table I work from so do to lack of space I've been trying to just do the dragon first, then the background with castle and then the border.
