This is coming along nicely. As for the needle. grab a strong magnet and run it ll over the floor, couch & under the cushions until you find it! I have one of those magnetic wands that i use to seek mine out. They go for a few bucks and can usually be found in the quilting aisle.

I'm thinking of using black seed-beads for Teddy's eyes & also, does anyone else think the pink in Dragons ear is a little too PINK?

Looking very nice!! The pink is maybe just a wee bit too pink to suit me, but it looks pretty nice as is. As for the beads that's a super idea, but you may want to wait until after the waste canvas is removed

Karen, YES, the beads would be after I remove the wc. I'm also holding judgement on the pink until I see the design up against the fabby (it's the darker of the 2 splotcy-ish ones on page 1).

That does make it tricky, not being able to see it as stitched but it really shouldn't be too bad I don't think. You've really made wonderful progress on this

Thank you...I put a rush on it and really concentrated on it this weekend (have been watching that old series from BBC; Upstairs, Downstairs & stitching).

I like the pink, I think it looks good for a dragon ear. Your are making great speed on this one!!!!!

I didn't notice the pink color in the ear until you mentioned it. If it bothers you, I'd suggest going with a lighter color or I'm afraid that all you'll see when you look at the design is that pink.

I love the dragon. He is so cute. I think the pink is a tad too bright, but against the real fabric, not the canvas, I think it will look better. You have made wonderful progress. Can't wait to see it finished.

Teddy's ears are also supposed to be pink...I'm thinking of not even stitching them until after the wc is off & seeing how Dragons ear looks.

Am going to put in teddy's pink ears/cheeks & start the bs today in a Dr's waiting room:



After that, I'll remove the wc & wait for the beads for teddy's eyes.
