I use both depending on the size of the project. My plastic hoop I have is 8 inches, and I'm not completely in love with it. For me it's harder to eat the tension I want out of it if I'm not working on a brand spanking new project with really stiff fabric. My wooden hopes I have are 10, 11, 4 and 7 inches. The bigger ones don't get used much because they are starting to separate because of the tension that I used. My favorite are my q-snaps. And I'm looking forward to ordering a few more sets. Just haven't made up my mind on what sizes I want to order just yet..

Almost finished with the top half if the page. This project really only gets worked on a few hours on Sunday while I'm working. It's not high on my favorite list to stitch, nor is it something that I want to spend a lot of time stitching. I figure when I get it finished is when I get it finished.

There's a crap ton of back stitching and French knots, it's really just not a favorite :?

It's no fun to work on something you don't enjoy, but it looks great.

I love the design, the fabric isn't horrible either. It's the 3 threads, all the back stitching that doesn't make sense most of the time (because all of the bs is bold black lines where it's suppose to be and the directions for the bs is a puzzle in itself) oh, and let's not forget the French knots that are suppose to take up an entire square all on its own (like really?!? Who's French knots are that big?!?) it's pretty funny when the French knot has its own symbol that takes up the entire square, and I'm just sitting here thinking "uh...I don't think my knot will fill that spot, maybe it's time to invest in some beads" lol

It does look very nice but it sounds like it would NOT be fun to stitch at all :(

:applesauce: :applesauce: Good to see this one again and you are getting through it too. Sorry it is such a pain to stitch.

I have found in the past with Dimensions kits that they often say 3 strands over 1 but I keep to my 2 and do it on 16 or 18 count, much easier. If the b/s is not showingup then leave it out, no one will be any the wiser. "Stitching is to be enjoyed" as Mabel told me recently and I agree. :D
