Here is an update, I finished the ornament and stared/almost finished a gift for my husband too!
and this will say "I'm tall, dark and fantastic in the morning"
=)

Haha thanks! DH picked it out of a couple options that I gave him. I found on etsy.

I've finished the gift for my husband, now I just need to figure out how to frame it. It's suppose to go on our coffee station, but I think it's going to need an 8x10 frame and mat, so I'm not sure how it will fit... First world problems.
annnd I've also just started on this. It's my second start with this pattern, I have an 9x13 in piece of 32 count black laguna, but needless to say it was SO hard to see. I switched to this 25 count black laguna. I've never stitched something with such a small count per inch! I'm doing 3 over two (I've also never used three strands before!) I'm loving it so far!
Sorry for the quality, cell phone at night, black fabric, yeah.

It's called Holiday Cats, by Mary Ellen Yanich. I really like the Halloween one, but not really any of the others.

The Halloween piece is going to be beautiful. Stitched on the black fabric it is going to be fantastic!

love the finished coffee cup!! the halloween cat looks awesome too, impressed about you stitching on black. Im nowhere near confident enough for that yet!
