It was pretty funny last night...I had a few min to stitch so I picked up Victorian Xmas Eve. What a change! 14 ct aida instead of 40 ct linen and the needle felt huge compared to the one I use for Fjord Ponies!

This looks awesome!!!!!

It took me forever to figure out how to set the mag so that I could stitch with it. I use it quite often now but when I first started with it I went bonkers in the eyes......

This is such a gorgeous design and you are doing such a good job stitchng it on 40 count. I love the blues as well. They have a lovely depth to them.

Page 2 done in just over a week. I'm really happy with that considering I lost a lot of my stitchy time due to organizing a horse show at my barn. Sorry the picture is a little blurry:
Image
Each motif on page 2 is a different shade of blue, even though some of them are pretty similar. It's easier to see the slight shade differences in person.

It was a dressage schooling show that our regional club puts on - we have 4 a year. It was pouring down rain in the morning but most everyone still rode & just got wet since there wasn't any lightning. The cool part was the Century Ride one of our members completed. (A Century Ride is one where the rider & horse's ages add up to 100.) She rode her 33 yr old Hanoverian in a lower level test. He's been retired for many years but she got him fit again just to show him this weekend. You wouldn't believe how that old guy perked up with everyone watching him! And his arthritis hasn't been as bad since he's getting worked 3-4 times a week.
