I'm very sorry to lose you as a moderator, Rose. You have done an absolutely wonderful job keeping the forum running smoothly. I imagine you have had to deal with a lot of things behind the scenes that we are not aware of, and it must have been very stressful.
If anyone deserves a well earned rest, it is you.

We all have crabby times ... take a break, make a change (which is as good as a holiday or so they tell me). Lord knows you deserve one.

As a relatively new member, I have found you and the other members of this forum to be nothing but helpful, considerate, wonderful people. It has a lovely atmosphere, and I believe you have a lot to do with that.

Rose, I'm so sorry that you feel you need a break but I hope the break will be a good and relaxing one. I for one have never noticed any snippy-ness and am just in awe of all that you have done for the forum when your life is so full of other things as well -- thank you for years of great moderating!

I'm anther one Rose who has never seen a negative thing from you. But I understand the need for a break, when you feel you are committed to something 24/7 it does get tired after a while, however nice a place. So sit back, relax, recharge and please please come back and visit often.

Thank you for all your work, it's large part down to you that this forum is such a lovely place, and now the three girls will take over your mantle and carry on.

Look after yourself and be at peace.

I'm glad that you have recognized the need to take a break, Rose. I hope it will help you sort yourself out. You have been spoiling us for so long regardless of what is going on in your own life. Thank you for the work you have done and enjoy the future, just don't leave us altogether.

Im so sorry you're feeling stressed but I cant imagine you ever being anything other than lovely! In the short time I have been on this forum I dont think Ive seen anyone, especially you being rude or snippy.

As I have been a moderator on a previous forum I do understand the stresses behind the scenes. Being the only moderator on this forum must be an understandably stressful task! Maybe when you come back you could look at assigning different sections to individual moderators and take some of the stress off yourself

Thank you all for the lovely comments. I am so glad that this has been a positive experience for so many and I really want it to continue to be so.

The snippy has been the notes I have written in PM's. I have moderated myself on the open forum and that was when I realized that I had to stop it. When I would write a post and then have to go back and rephrase some of what I said I realized oh this is not good. Most of the frustration has been to people with copyright issues and also the do not post e-mails in the open forum. I get many that say what is the problem with that. Well it is a forum rule and it is a safety concern so ..... but anyway no worries I will lurk and do an occasional post here and gone. So I will be about just less in your face........

As a relatively new member to the forum, thank you for your hard work as moderator as you have done a wonderful job.

Like many others who have posted, I too haven't noticed anything other than kindness and support to everyone on the forum. I sincerely hope that plenty of rest and relaxation will help you feel much better.
