Not only are her charts awesome, so is her hand dyed fabric. :)

Some of them are mockups, but not all of them. Or maybe they're so big that a stitch is a pixel at monitor resolution.

Allyn, as I am the one who does the charting, I am fully aware of what goes onto my website. Not one of the pics on there is the original art. I do not watermark the original art. The Mock Up is the only pic I watermark and the only pic that is on my website.

Okay ::shrug::
They're still not what I'm looking for, but okay.

I love Royo's work; I've been a fan of his for many years. I'd be very disappointed if you didn't post progress pics.
Allyn,

The image in question is the second one down in this 'statueforum' thread: http://www.statueforum.com/showthread.php?t=143651. I don't really think it would be right to show on this forum - but is probably borderline. What I have in mind would be on an Ecru background, about 18" high, 6" wide in 18 count and just be a sketch outline with filled in areas for the fabric, hair & tattoos. About 8300 stitches, so a nice short project.

The Yamato statues are amazing, and I did a little review of one I do have, which was inspired by the Royo 'The Touch of Ice' picture: http://www.statueforum.com/showthread.php?t=144195

Regards,

Richard

We'd have to ask Rose, Richard, but I wouldn't be offended by those images.

I find nothing offensive about the picture and I think we have seen thing a bit more risque here. I think it is beautiful. But it is not only up to me. We have 3 other moderators and they can chime in on what they think.

Considering the amount of nekkidness in some HAED charts, I don't see why this is any worse. If you really wanted to play it safe you could always post just a link to your images so people would need to click to see them - and post a NSFW warning before the link. That way anyone that sees them did so by making a choice to do so and can't blame you for offending their special snowflake sensibilities ;)

Are you kidding me? I don't see anything wrong with that picture.

Gosh I've been a long time fine of Royo and I have several of those pictures as desktop backgrounds that I swap out on occasion. The detail is just sublime!

While stitching and watching cross stitch videos on youtube, my new obsession, I was going through my watch later section and I didn't know that I am subscribed to Unconventional X Stitch. I have attached her video of why her kids are expensive. I found it very enlightening and I might just cave one day and get one.
