Love the framed finish. You did such a great job on the stitching as well as picking out the framing. Thanks for sharing your finish.

Thank you for your kind comments. I did buy a plain dark brown frame from a charity shop thinking it would be right for this but when I put it over the x-stitch it did not suit at all. I went through frames I already had & this seemed just right.
I have gridded Aida & sorted threads for Dimensions Gold 'Overlook Cafe', European lakeside with mountains in the background. Think someone else is doing it too. It is on 18 ct & these Dimensions Gold are always lovely once finished so the extra effort is worthwhile. I also have a kit of an English garden on 14 ct, less intricate but pretty, so will stitch that in between when I need a rest from the smaller count. Will probably start stitching Dimensions one tomorrow night. Could do with stitching something in a warmer climate as it was -1 degree at 9 am Thursday morning. Spring flowers are out in our garden & clocks go forward soon , yippee!
