You are welcome, Lyudmila :D I am still amazed that we can share tips and tricks when we all live so far away from each other. Isn't brilliant! :whoop:

Not managed as much I would like due to my stay in St. Cross Stitchers and this photo was taken on the morning of the Jab, however Rhys wanted to pop on and say hello

Hoping by the weekend I'll be able to stitch again.

and oh so bright and cheerful in your wintry weather. He is gorgeous Maureen and oh so neatly and beautifully stitched. Try not to do too much at once though to give your arm a chance to get really well. :)

Thank you lovelies for all your replies.

Not as neat as our Mabel's brooch, but I am pleased with my first effort, the light is terrible today for taking photos so please excuse the flash.

I also had DS take a photo of it being worn

Thank you again Mabel for your wonderfullly clear instructions and the link to Mary Corbet's instructions for the woven picot.

Next I'm going to try double knitting and see how large it turns out. With the Pearl Cotton it measure 3cm (tiny!)

That's come out beautifully! And what a great idea to use perle cotton, you're right, it has a lovely sheen. I must try one #5 or perhaps even #3 :thinks:
