And this is my start

Another little guy. I’m making this for a friend in California who kindly gave me a few promo things (wine decanter and glasses and a Star Wars Rally Monkey) from my favorite baseball team (Anaheim Angels...they will NEVER be called the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim by me or any true fan). She loves sea turtles, so I’m pretty sure she’ll like this.



It’s hard to see much progress here, but it took me two days to decide on the fabric and I started it today, so I’m pleased. The fabric is 28 count lugana, “Jazz” by Picture this Plus. You can’t tell from the picture but it’s a light blue with purple-y highlights.

Awesome projects!!! I really really really love the turtle one==need to find that to stitch!! Looking forward to updates on both of these and very curious to see how the kitty one goes, when assembling it

I suspect it will be, as our friends across the pond say, “fiddly” (which sounds so much nicer than “a pain in the a$$“ ).

I finished this little guy yesterday and he’ll be a Christmas card. This is a kit by Permin; I think it’s called elf and owl (at least that’s what I’m calling it).

What a little cutie he is Debby and good to get ahead of the game when you can too. Is that the first Christmas one this year?

ARGH! the C-word! But very cute... and does look like a Permin design. Those Scandinavians, eh?

This is only the second Permin I’ve done but I think I have more (and if not I think I should buy more because I really love them).

As for the C-word...there’s a lot of that going around...COVID 19...ugh..

That makes TWO C-words. Oh, great.

But I do enjoy Permin designs. Well kitted out and fun.

I much prefer Debby's C-word!
