Looking though my notes I see that I started Hengest in December 2018

Still some decisions to make about his horn and jewels, but I've done some work on his bridle!

It may be taking a longer time than usual for your to work a design, but I'd say it has been worth every second so far. He looks amazing!

Bit more work on the little trees, this is the one which I always think of as a cypress (it's 6cm high):

Beautiful! I love the deep green color especially. Wouldn't be surprised to see some birds flying around it or squirrels playing.

Strikes me as quite medieval. Really like the use of textural stitches, particularly the trunk.

Serinde, the trunk is Bayeux stitch. The green outlines are 8 strands/threads of Caron Wildflowers couched down irregularly, and the middle bit is raised stem stitch in two shades. And a little vermicelli couching in light green around it.
