Much better........here's the chocolate back :choc: :choc: :choc:

I almost started crying yesterday. After winding off and on all day, the bag looked about half empty. (Understand that this bag was bigger than my westie when I started!) So I rounded up the remains of the little packages of bobbins that came with the five boxes I bought (they came 100 to the box so that should have been 500 bobbins for the 440 skeins) only to find that I have over 300 bobbins still left!!!! Either I got much more than 440 skeins or they gave me extra bobbins, which I can't believe. I may need to count what I've done so far but I'm afraid.............

Update: I've only done 190

Oh, poor Alyson, having to wind all those nasty threads...
 I would take your place.

Don't give up, you can do it! I know you can. So just keep going. Why not stitch something really small in between, to help you restore your winding energy?

440 skeins?????

WOW. Do they make bobbin winders? They probably do, but if not, that would be a great invention! I just started a project and decided to forgo the bobbins this time around and give the stitch bows a try, mainly because the thought of not having to wind floss around any bobbins seemed appealing.

I'm still trying to wrap my head around winding 440 skeins!!

Not too much of the :toast: though, or all the bobbins will be crooked :-)
