:applesauce: It's great to see this one finally coming to life as I also remember when you posted the first pic of it saying you were getting it for Christmas! The coverage looks great and is it me or do the threads look kind of sparkly?!?! I assume they're just normal thread but they must just have caught the light!
Are you feeling yourself becoming a tent stitch convert for big projects now as I certainly am??
I will look forward to regular updates on this to keep me from boredom this week at work!!

The light must have caught it, Louise, they're just regular DMC threads. I must admit, I'm enjoying the tent stitch as it grows so fast!

Here's the next update - first page complete now - 7760 stitches! Not very exciting - nothing but 8 shades of blue! But the next page has a tiny bit of gold on it. Yay!

I'm enjoying the tent stitch, CC, I'm doing continental tent stitch where you take the thread the longest route along the back to the next stitch - I'm sure there is a thread somewhere on here with diagrams.....

Anyway it's keeping the area I'm stitching nice and square - I had heard that if you don't do that, it ends up distorting itself to one side if you know what I mean.

I've done 3 blocks of 10 x 10 on page 2 now and AT LAST I've got golds and greens to do. What a nice relief from all the blue!
