Beautiful work! 
Can't wait to see more. I've always framed myself using backing board. I've just never been able to keep it stretched and have to remount it every few years. Never had discoloration though (knock on wood). My HAED is going to be my first piece professionally done - I figure a year's worth of work is worth the money!
