Brave girl! I'm not happy using black fabric ..........But the effect is always dramatic!

sorry no progress as yet been sorting stews front forks on his 900 all weekend hopeing to do some more 2nite if i can get the blooming oil off my hands.

Really can relate to that I have to scrub my hands every night before I can stitch anything. Always something on them from work.

Somehow I managed to miss this thread - probably from intermittent web access due to dead computer! 
Anyway, you've picked a lovely project and made a nice start. Those colours stand out so well on the black.

I'm liking this a lot. I don't mind working on black because the colours look so good on it.
Love the dog. He must be a good companion for you. And he doesn't get bored when you moan about your stitching, does he?
