Ok, so here's my first update on this. It's part of the cat and part of the sleeve of the little girls dress.

Sorry for the colours. It's on 16ct white aida but the colours aren't looking right.



Hoping to get a bit more time on it tonight.

I've put this on a different post as I wanted to show a picture of the girl I'm doing but unfortunately, no matter how I try, I can't avoid a corner of the chart being in it.
If you feel it's too much and you need to remove it Rose, please feel free.

Looking great TB, good start. If Rose says that the picture needs to be removed cover the chart bit with some paper and do it that way.

The picture you have posted is not a problam as there is not enough of the pattern showing for some one to stitch the entire picture or even enough of it to make a copy of the basic design.

The picture is adoable and so cute for a little girl to look at in her room for many years.

Have had a bit of a crisis of confidence with this one, as to whether it was her thing or not. So I've put it away and been ignoring it.

Anyhow, have decided I might as well get on with it and see how it turns out and worry then!

She is so sweet! I'm tempted to keep the chart (I found I've got the mag, too) but it's a bit large for me and I haven't got anyone to stitch it for . So I'll just keep visiting this thread and enjoy it here!

Also, tb, I found a link to a website I sometimes use for planning out amounts of stitched text http://www.crosstitch.com/fontform.html.
You can type in the name etc, choose a font, and it generates a .pdf file with a gridded chart of the stitched text. Thought you might find it useful
