Thinking of you C-F, this is a hard time right now. Hope it all works out well and that things turn up alot better for you.

I'm sorry to hear that you are still going through a stressful time! You and your family are still in my prayers! Hopefully everything will work out with your husband's job. It's great that the two of you have already sat down and made a plan of action. That's the best thing to do right now instead of leaving everything unresolved/unplanned until the worst happens.

he has been laid off..

we will be searching for jobs and a place to live back in maryland.
we have until sept to move out of this place...
we know that if we haven't found anything there..we can all squeeze in his mom's basement and put things storage..

everything but some of my stash!! lol..

anyway..yeah so my time will be scarce on here..
not sure how much stitching time i'll have..but i'll get the mitten and friendship thing done..

i know my castles in the air will be put on hold for awhile..
but the serendipity i'll do..it's easy...only 3 colors..etc.
and the backstitching will be done on my dragon/castle..only 1 color...

soooo yeah.wish me luck..

and again..those of you that know me on facebook..don't make any references ..his family doesn't know yet..trying to keep it kinda quiet also..

OMG

I just called the manager of the place I worked 4 years ago, that I had kept in touch w/..told her our situation..

not only does she have an associate position avail, she will have an assistant manager one coming open..which is what my position was when i left.

i have to pass an online survery and then the job is mine..

i can start asap.

mid june is when school ends..so we'll pack up and move into my inlaws 3bdrm basement (gah) in the mean time.
hubby will get unemployment while he looks, our stuff will be in storage..but the biggest weight..one of us will be getting a paycheck..a good one.. and have health benefits!

we'll more than likely still have to pay the last 3 months of our lease here..

1900. a month..but no other bills...

sad i'll no longer be a sahm but I do miss working

Oh gosh things seem to be moving fast, I got a bit behind.

I'm so sorry that he has been laid off, but things seem to be moving in the right direction for you jobwise. Fingers crossed for you

Congratulations, I'm so very pleased things seem to be turning a corner for you.
