This is looking great, you will be finished in not time. The backstitch is a pain but really makes a differance :D

Thanks for all the encouragement. Haven't done much on this lately -- been busy with creating a newsletter for my other interest: Taoist Tai Chi. Just joined the local club a year ago and recommend it highly. Good for improving balance, circulation, flexibility and strength. And I'm sure all those good things help my stitching too . . . :P

OK, so I've been postponing finishing this. . . . But I have a good reason: just stitched a small project from Joan Elloitt's "Bewitching Cross Stitch" book. I'll probably frame it rather than make a cushion -- and I think I'll make an exception and keep it for myself! :wink:

Just noticed that I missed a stitich, so will fix it. Although I remember reading that early quilters always made one mistake 'on purpose', because only God is perfect. Hmmmm . . .
