Re: Beautiful blues

Post by Lizzieh »

Although I still love this I'm beginning to regret starting it.. This is where I have got to.

Image

As always. it was going fine until I started on the backstitching :(

There is LOADS of it. I have had two long stitching sessions on it and not even done anywhere near half of the first tile.

Image

The other really annoying thing :x is that there are a lot of mistakes in the chart. I think it is the first time I have stitched a project from a magazine.(other than cards)
So i don't know if it is normal for so many mistakes. It is driving me :x .

I'm sorry the backstitch is so annoying, not to mention the mistakes in the chart! I stitch quite a lot from magazines and haven't really noticed many mistakes (once or twice I "tidied charts up" making them more regular/symmetrical, but that's just me... ). The result is going to be worth it though, this looks so good already!

It really is coming out gorgeous! I absolutely without a doubt can understand the frustration of b/s (which is why I avoid it at all cost) but at least it is well worth it in the end! Keep up with it! :applesauce:

It's beautiful and you're getting on great with it. Sorry to hear there are mistakes in the chart though, that must be frustrating. Keep up the good work.
