This is going to be beautiful and what a brilliant idea to back it with a soft blanket.

That looks really gorgeous! I have been wanting to do a similar project, but with the designs I selected, some are slightly bigger then the area provided on the blanket that is already divided into 5 inch squares. I noticed that on your panels your design looks cut off in straight edges. Was that on purpose or did the pattern come like that. I only ask because it looks nice, I was thinking that I could do that with the designs that I had picked out, instead of trying to find an afgan big enough to use!

Oooh, I'm late to this one. What a lovely thread and afghan! I saw this design when it was published in the magazine, and have added it to my stash. I shall be watching it develop with interest!!

Fabulous stitching so far, so neat!

This project is really making me think what I'd like to stitch on mine, yours is beautiful. :applesauce: :applesauce: I have the Afghan material, I purchased it from Sew and So ages ago and, apart from wanting to finish my Tiger, I have had a lot of difficulty choosing something to stitch. Looking forward to another update of your Afghan :)
