I love this one! I have that PM program as well and I've made some really neat patterns with it.

I'm very nearly finished with my Hot Wheels Monster truck! Just a filler color. Then I can move on to my next project. I am also happy to say that i just purchased my first HAED. It is QS Lotus Namaste, I am soooooooo excited! I tried to find something that had colors that I liked, that didn't look too too hard. This is what I came up with, I hope I made the right decision! I will start a thread for that as soon as I start it. Here is what it looks like!

Great work on Hotwheels, it's such a fun design :applesauce:

And I LOVE the HAED you've chosen. As you say, beautful colours. Can't wait to see your thread on that one.

Since you all are practically forcing me to!  I plan to go out this weekend and by the material and threads, well not all of them there are 53!!! but maybe enough to cover a corner! And as for material, I have bought 18 count, i have to get the 24 count which is what they recommend I think! Then I will do some experimenting with stitches and material. I am leaning towards 18 though, as it is my first HAED! I don't want to strain my eyes as well as my mind which will be occupied trying to make sure I am making the right stitch! Hopefully I should be all set to start next week!

Hello all, I am nearing the end of my HotWheels! I just have one color left. Its a lot of area but I think I should be finished by this week end. Here is a picture of where I am with it now.

Image

You'll notice that there is a little reddish brown color added to the flames since the last photo, and I added the white which is hard to see. Maybe you can see in this one. The bottom of the letters are white. But you can't tell because, well its white! My camera is not so good with the focusing up that close.

Image

In the photos you can see on the bottom of the wheels on the left side the dark green color. This is what color will be filling in the spaces. Hope it turns out well! This piece has been challenging, many times I wanted to put it away and never see it again! But I pushed through and now I am glad I did. All those confetti stitches nearly did me in though! Soon I should be able to put this one away, pick up my princess project and also get a start on the HAED that I have bought!!

I love this, OH and I are both big kiddies when it comes to toy cars, bikes, monster trucks and anything else like this. Lovely bright colours and you're nearly finished!

The HAED you have chosen is beautiful too, I'm looking forward to following your SAL on it when you get started.
