Thank you, everyone. My Mam brought me some of her old stitchy stuff - a whole box full of various flosses , some small offcuts of Aida and a couple of x-stitch books she'd picked up in a charity shop. Didn't get any actual stitch time (and won't till tonight as my son's 1st b/day party is this afternoon - he turned 1 on Thursday past) but I plan on having a lovely long stitchy sesh tonight.
