I love this one! Have the four of them on my WL. Maybe I should get some fancy cloth and start on my luna, stella, sol trio. Mmmmm Fenech.

I'm in utter awe of you, Sarah. Not only quick and beautiful work but you always find designs that I like. Don't want to do them myself but love looking at them. Some HAEDs just don't appeal to me but your choices do.

Sorry to other HEADers, but we can't all like everything and I do love looking at your work!!

Sarah, I do hope you don't get your HAED pages muddled up and attach the wrong page to the wrong design!! Could make for some really interesting finishes.
:D

Love the idea of all that sparkle! Looking forward to seeing you whip this up in an instant (well that's how it'll seem at the pace you stitch Sarah  ).

 I had thought how awful it would be to stitch half a page and then realise it's a page from the wrong chart! Once I started Floatilla as well as Bubble, I keep a folder for each chart and even when I know I've gone to the right folder, I still read the top of the chart and make sure it has the right design name on it! Can't be too careful!

Looks like I will definitely be starting on this tomorrow - I got about 400 stitches done on Floatilla last night - not too much but a lot of it was confetti stitches. About 600 left to do tonight, mostly large areas of colour so I should finish it and then I'll get the fabric ready for the mermaid.

Looking forward to seeing this one Sarah. It's so different from the other two HAEDs. I'm sure it will be a nice break from the two Marchettis, and introduce some difference.

Here's the first picture. Nothing much to see yet, but the brown outline you see gives the size of this entire page! Although the design is 2 pages wide, it's spread out with a third of a page, then a full one and then half of one because the mermaid's tail sticks out over the border on both sides.

Anyway, here's a start and the small amount of sparkly I've done is using the Madeira blending filament sample which Mabel sent me. I've ordered a reel of it now as it's perfect for what I want - nice and smooth to use, the right thickness to use 2 strands and it's only got a subtle sparkle to it - I think something really sparkly would be too much as there's loads of this in the design.

Wonderful start and so glad that you are happy with the Madeira. It would be terrible to have to work so much with a thread that is giving you fits.

Oh my giddy aunt you've started another one
I can't keep up with your posts, never mind the amount of stitching you do.
But I'll let you off as this is a really nice one

Woohoo - another one started - can't wait to see more. Of course with your rate of stitching, this will be finished sooner than we can blink. :applesauce:
