I 've got a couple of these needle organiser from Pako and I am so grateful I've got them! It helps me so much with my large designs, saves me time with the needles and different colours, I think it will really help you if you're stitching large designs.

I want a Pako organizer (or two) sooo much, but can't buy it now. So for the time being my needle organizer is going to look like that

Excellent solution and it is actually easier to see the symbols because you can do them bigger.
