You know what, Mabel - I ordered way too much of it, I read the diagram wrong while I was ordering my supplies. I ordered 2 spools, and I only need about 4 - 6 inch lengths. If you pm me your address, I will send you my extra spool.

Aww, that's so kind! What would you like in exchange, some silks perhaps?

This is a lovely design and you have made a great start....it's surprising how much time fiddly bits take.
I am also doing a wedding sampler of doves and it is also for a wedding in July so we will have to keep each other motivated!!!

Thanks LadyM

I saw your wedding sampler too, very pretty! We can cheer each other on! When is the wedding in July? The one I am going to is July 4.

July 3rd, so we will have to finish at the same time.
Thank you...not done any for a few days though as I am back to uni and I have been organizing myself....must do some later!

Here is my latest progress. I have finished the backstitch at the top, the Rhodes Heart and the Scotch Stitch.
I have to say I am loving the hand-dyed fabric from Silkweaver! This is the first time I've used their fabric and it is SO soft

I have just started back on this one since I finished page 4 of the castle. Since my last update, I have done the oblique herringbone stitches, whitework cross stitches, satin stitches, the a line of backstitch followed by a line of tent stitch. I can't wait to see it with the beads added but I will have to hold off on adding them....
