This is a beautiful design and you've got loads done already!

How frustrating about the fabric, but I'm glad you'll be able to fit it on. As someone else said, if framing is difficult you can soon stitch an extra bit of fabric along that edge, which won't show. I've done the same thing myself before.

Great start! And what a lovely design :)

I'm so sorry you made a mistake with the fabric, but at least you have room to complete it!

Thanks everyone! I'm sure the fabric will sort itself out, and I'll stop being irritated with myself soon. I've done a fair bit on the next page, so hopefully I'll have another update soon.

You'd be welcome to join this SAL if you like, even if it's just for UFO week. I'd imagine it would be tough to go back from tent to full though...

Here's an updated pic. The next page has a huge block of DMC 826 for the sky...which will make the stitching go faster, but be rather dull. Hopefully I can just plow through it, and not get distracted by another project, as I have to finish this by September. I've been a bit disapointed in the pattern. It's looking better as I go along, but not nearly as rich as my GK.

I'm sorry to hear that you're disappointed with the pattern, I think it really does look fab. What's a GK?[/quote]

I think it looks fab as well :applesauce: GK are Golden Kite patterns that use tons of blends but the results are beautiful. Have a look at some of the wips http://www.goldenkite.com/news.php" target="_blank" target="_blank
