stunning picture. love black & white. hmmm, I get why we don't get to see photo's of white on white

Well after a minor disaster involving me wearing a childs dinosaur plaster which transfered the print to my stitching Panic stations!! I dabbed the affected area with a wool liquid detergent, rinsed under the tap and all is well - at least I now know that that the grid will wash off of the magic aida.
That asides stitching is going well - more than 2/3rd's of the way through my first page so plan to take a photo when I finish it. The greys are a wee bit of a challenge as they are so similar but I am working methodically through my chart to ensure I dont muck up. I am really enjoying stitching her, think she needs a name - any suggestions?

Hi Nina ~ so pleased to find someone else stitching the same HAED . How far along are you? What material are you stitching on? Do you have a thread with piccies - had a look but cant find anything. Would love a S-A-L buddy to compare with and keep me going

Actually, I've just started nearly a month ago I got bored with all that confetti on her hair, so I'm stitching her face instead. But it's nice to see your progress and compare it to mine And after all, I haven't got that far, you're going to catch me up

Beautiful work Nina - well done! I am def. going to try 25ct laguna and tent stitch for my next project - as this is on 18ct aida its going to be massive!

I am persevering with the confetti hair on page 1 as I am determined to finish it before moving on, still a bit to do but getting there.

I want to see! Stitching white on white sounds almost as frustrating as stitching with black on black! It might ave made the stitches more visible if you picked a fabric that was more cream coloured. The picture is amazing. I'm sure it will look absolutely stunning when finished.

Thanks I'm really happy with choosing tent stitches; the coverage is good and progress is pretty quick.

I have to say, I admire your determination to stitch all that confetti at once

Had a few small mishaps to unpick along the way (and I thought I was good at counting! ) but am now close to finishing my second page. I have done pages 1 and 8 - which is directly below rather than to the right of my first page.

She's been on hold for awhile, I've been busy with my other projects. I've called mine April, because she looks like it to me, and I started stitching her 1st at April

Did I understand correctly, you've finished two pages already? Wow, you're like a lightning!

Finally got a photo uploaded - this is pages 1 & 8 complete - you cant really see all my hard work in white on white but its there! The grid lines fade away into the top corner as I had to wash it part of it - long story - but at least I know the lines really do disappear on the magic aida.
