What a great alphabet, and you've made a good start

Its great fun to stitch! lots of colour changes but I guess thats to make up for the lack of backstitch. My son loves watching its progress although he's a little impaient!! Thanks for the encouragement!! it helps a lot. Ive nearly finished Doc Hudson now, but I have to put it down for a little while and stitch for my atcs and biscornu exchange..... I got so carried away with this I nearly forgot to start them

So I've had a huge great disaster with this!! Last night I finished Doc Hudson and one of the letters and took it off my frame to move it about!! Then to my horror I realised that I've made the stupidist mistake ever!!! I've stitched it the wrong way round!! So I'm not going to have enough room (heightwise) to finish it!!! I'm very very annoyed with myself for making this mistake!! I was going to scrap it and start again, but with 2 of my kids birthdays in the same week next month, I can't really afford to buy a big piece of fabric to re start. So I've thought about it and I'm going to attempt to jig it about a bit and see if I can reposition the characters and letters to fit them on?! I'm not altogether sure this is going to work?!? but we'll see what happens. Fingers Crossed it works out!!

Oh Charmed what a shame! But good for you that you're going to try and make it work -- it'll make the piece unique and it'll have a story to tell!

Oh Charmed I am so sorry you have had such a problem, I do hope you can work it out, but if not, like bert I have some spare material if you want to begin again.

Thanks everyone and much thanks for the offers of fabric, Its so kind of you all, but I'm all set on trying to make the best of such a stupid mistake! I'm still quite angry with myself but my husband thought it was highly amusing!!

Hope you manage to get things sorted and the jigling works

After the disaster that was this project I put it away because I didnt have the heart to work on it. But then I decided to do a complete restart and brought a huge chunk of white aida. I started around xmas time and what with one thing and another Ive only managed to do about half.
This is where I am at the moment


Bless my now 3yr old for being so paient while I finally get this done, should be ok as Cars 2 is out soon

this is sooooooooooo adorable! Can't wait to see the next update

It's really precious and with the new movie out it really is very up to date.
