I absolutely love Vanity! It's my favourite from the series.
I can't wait to see more, and hopefully the 20ct is treating you better!

Wow your restart looks great. And I totally understand. You are the one that has to look at it, if you are not happy or if something is going to bother you, even it it's one stitch, you will always see it and it will bug you forever! So Good choice on the restart! :applesauce:

I agree... if it's bugging you then you're not going to enjoy stitching. And if you're not enjoying it, what is the point in stitching?

For such an important piece of stitching it's vital to get it to feel right -- glad you found the right combination of fabric/threads/stitches for you!

I'm glad you find your perfect combo! Now that you know what it is, you will be on a roll for all future HAEDs. When I started my first one I started it three times before I found the fabric and thread count that I was most comfortable with. Can't wait to see your progress on this one! i LOVE the deadly sins collection.

so it has been awhile, i didn't feel like i made progress til i saw my last pic. i'm almost done with this page (page 1), it's at about 75% or so. i'm having a blast with it and getting into a rhythm to stitch it has actually been difficult.

i graduated college in may and in july i started my first ever 'real' world job doing project management. well it is amazing how little free time i have between trying to maintain enough energy after coming home to actual get stuff done. the last few weeks i developed my own 'sanity' rule...at 8:30 (i know, i'm breaking it now, but it's about stitching so i'm covered) i put down whatever i'm stressing over and stitch.

surprisingly, that has had some success. i don't always make it, but i average about a good 1 1/2 hr a night!

anyway, enough rabbling, here's the goodies :D

Sounds like a good plan! You're coming on really well with this, it's great once you get into a rhythm with stitching especially if you've had a bit of a slump with it.

Woo, another project manager! That's my day job, too. I get a lot less done at home now because I'm tired after making other people get stuff done all day at work!

Stitching is an awesome hobby for PMs since we can see incremental improvement targeting towards a definite finish.
