I'm using 25 count Lugana, and two threads one over one as I've been stitching Lanarte's Day Fairy on the same fabric with that combination. I was using a hoop for that kit but after buying a scroll for this HAED I don't think I'll ever go back

It's a great start. I find that the more a project starts to look like something, the more I'm motivated to do it.

I'm hoping to move upwards towards the face I think, for some reason I like the faces appearing and working downwards! As you can see I'm liking the sparkly thread a little bit too much!

I always try to finish the face first in a project so that they can watch me work on the rest of the design. It also gives me the feel that if I ignore my project they are scolding me.....

I agree with Mabel you can never have to much sparkle!!!!

Heh! I tend to put off faces as long as I can, where possible - saving the best to last, as it were! Besides - I don't like stitcking a needle into anything with a face - I can almost see it going "Ow!"

It's looking good - and I love the sparklies as well!
