Further progress. Lots of fractionals!!

Image

Mabel - which link doesn't work? Don't know why the link I put in doesn't work, but the Claire's celtic cornucopia link should work.

Can't see much progress being made over the weekend, have full day tomorrow with the horses feets being done, and Sat is my dad's b'day and I have to run and find him a couple of chickens for a present! And Sunday is a horse show where I am advertising my forum (about clicker training) and chances are that this will knock me out for a week or so! I try so hard to schedule things really spaced out, but they always come together in the end!! Hey ho.

The link to see the complete design wasn't working for me either... Your project is looking great! Fractionals can be such a headache  but they add great detail to a design

Having bit of a break from the dragon - there are so many fractionals I really do need to be in the right frame of mind! So I thought I'd include my other projects on this thread.

Here is where the dragon has got to:

Image

Here is the train birth sampler I did for a friend - I've included a close up of the lion as I was impressed by him! There were a lot of 3/4 stitches and a lot of back stitch but it was easy and fun to do.

Here is my current project - some dolphins

Where I've got to: Its going to be a present for my neurosurgeon - kinda thing everyone will like!

You are making great progress on all three of these. I love the Train and the Dolphins but my favourite has to be the Dragon, he is gorgeous :applesauce: :applesauce: :applesauce:

Oh yes, the dragon is my fav as well - I almost thing that some of my reluctance to stitch him at the moment is cos I don't want to finish him! I'd miss him....there are 3 more to do mind!

Very impressive work! That lion is super cute! The dolphins are amazing too! Reminds of a photo my husband's friend took of some dolphins following their sub... There wasn't the wave like that though lol

The animal train is adorable, and the dolphins are a very impreessive design. But I still like the dragon best :-), such lovely shading in his wing!

Update! 8) Have just picked up the dragon again - was put off from a big section of fractionals, but have done it now - pics in a few days.

Here is the progress on the dolphins - doing this one in the gap between 5.30 to 7pm

This is another project I've started, to do in the evening, can't do the dancer in the evening as I need light, so I'm having fun with this one.

Will look like this: (beads and metallics)

Progress: (white gaps will be beads, metallics as ever not showing brill)

Image

I've been doing a lot of 18 or 16 count lately, this one is in 14 and it seems very big - and also there is not the same coverage, and I really like it for this design, seems part of it - see what I mean:

I have this other design to do as well:

Though I have a baby sampler to fit in quickly soon!!
