I finished my tree.

I just need to add the beads and they should arrive tomorrow. Never did beading before so I'll have to see how to work it.
EDIT: I did the Fancy Cross stitch using a blend of DMC 159 and 3841; the Tied Windmill is DMC 3756 blended with Anchor 1040, with Anchor 1040 alone for the middle stitch; the leaves are DMC satin 415 and DMC 4010 Variegated, I thought i I went all silver it'd be too shiny and if I went all variegated it'd be too faded. I added a couple of leaves and removed the falling ones, to keep a winter look as opposed to an autumn one.
I had a visitor while trying to take a pic.
Husband looked at it today and said it looks like the LOTR White Tree, didn't someone say that about another member's tree?
I had a lot of fun stitching this up and have an idea how to finish it, hope it works.

It is just gorgeous, still my favorite of all the versions I have seen.

It does look like the white tree from LOTR and you have done an astounding job. The threads and the fabric are so elegant.
Your visitor is clearly an admirer of skill. Very discerning.

Like your intruder
This must be one of my favourite versions of the tree, it is so delicate and just the right amount of shine -- how clever of you to do the leaves in a mixture of satin and stranded cotton!
