About that...Penelope's stiffness or something. It depends. Sometimes it is stiff at first, but later it may become so easy to handle, that one must pull tight with one hand while stitching with the other. Other canvases again, I think the one with smaller mesh, like 3-4...they keep the stiffness part rather nicely from A to Z.

Finished the crossstitches and the border today, just have the swirly backstitch and beads left
