I would have moaned that it was all rubbish, just leaflets, but I got cards from Lizzy and Sarah as well for TOF's, so that made it well worth the postman's visit after all!

Thank you both, they're wonderful!!

Well not the postperson, but a friend. She came for lunch today and gave me a belated birthday gift of a Wiehenburg chart, Quaker Circle

It is,of course,a lovely gift, but especially so when you consider she's not a stitcher and I hadn't dropped her any hints. She'd researched it all herself, asked me a few subtle questions (I don't even recall her asking!) and chosen the chart for me.

I'm so touched. That's thoughtfulness!

I'm getting quickly obsessed with peacocks!

Chart I just got is this one ... http://www.sewandso.co.uk/cgi-bin/find/ ... 35517&ww=1

It has a riddle in it, which I just solved so am quite pleased with myself. :-)

Thanks meg, it's a lovely chart I hope you enjoy doing that one.

I got two Bucilla felt kits from E-bay. They are tree ornaments for Christmas. I thought that I'd do them as stocking fillers for the grown-ups in the family. They are lovely.
